This study showed Charlotte ranked dead last, 50 out of 50 in America, in upward economic mobility. The study showed that Charlotte is deeply divided by race, quality of education, poverty and economic opportunity, level of social capital, and broken families.
This harsh reality led to us to creating our very own 501c3, Sons & Daughters Academy, to mentor younger, lower income families with music education. We began to partner with the Greater Enrichment Program.
