Introducing Preston - Piano Instructor
Preston began learning the Piano at age 10. He spent a few years with his first teacher before moving on to a few other teachers spending a total of 7 years in classical training. At age 16, Preston began to embrace his own understanding of musical theory integrating the traditions and philosophies he was taught throughout his younger years in music.
Philosophy
Preston believes that each student has ways that do and don’t work for them, and that learning the piano is not simply a “one size fits all” approach. Preston believes every student should develop their own unique perspective on music.
Experience
Preston grew up playing various shows, open mic nights, and school talent shows. He has composed a few pieces on the piano and has spent much of his time honing music production skills over the past few years. He desires to continue growing and collaborating in hopes of creating something bigger and better one day.
