Introducing Jieeun - Piano
Jieeun is originally from South Korea. She is bi-lingual. She started piano when she was 3 years old..She grew up in Fayetteville, NC and moved to Charlotte for college. She graduated from UNC Charlotte with a B.A. in Criminal Justice. She currently works at a law firm in Charlotte as a NC Certified Paralegal and teaches piano part-time. Music is a center piece in her life. She listens to and enjoys all types of music.
Philosophy
Jieeun got into teaching a few years ago because she wanted to pass along her passion for music. She believes it’s an amazing way to express yourself and a way to relieve stress. She also loves kids. She has always felt a connection with kids everywhere she goes. She tends to draw to them and the kids to her and is able to instantly create a connection.
Experience
Jieeun played piano all throughout her school years. She participated in competitions from grade school until she graduated high school. During this time, she also played piano for her church as a teen all throughout her school years. She currently still plays piano for her church in Gastonia.
