Introducing Kevin - Guitar/Music Theory
Kevin has been involved with music since the age of 10. His passion began in high school when he learned to play his brother’s guitar. Ever since, he has enjoyed songwriting, recording, playing live shows, and teaching new students. His favorite genres include punk, garage rock, folk, and singer/songwriter, but he also likes to incorporate many different sounds of music, including guitars, keyboard, sitar, trombone, flute, mandolin, ukulele, harmonica, and various percussion instruments.
Philosophy
First and foremost, Kevin encourages all of his students to have fun with whatever they play. Learning any instrument isn’t about precision or rigorous study, but the enjoyment one gets out it. Everyone learns at their own pace and no one is judged on their progress.
Experience
Kevin has been teaching since he was 18 and has had students of many different ages, backgrounds, and skill levels.
